It's unfortunate when popularity doesn't dissipate after high school. There is a time when you forget about all of this, and then something happens in your life when BOOM!! There it is again. I mean there could have been a simple explanation..... but I know different. It's that feeling deep down inside, where you feel like you want to hurl. Right now, it's the feeling of holding back the pain and tears. Funny thing is... I knew the results even before they were posted. I could have bet money on these results. When you look at the parties, only some to be chosen, and then really look closely at the people.... results not surprising. Hiking Trip to Frontenac Provincial Park (Part 2: The Trip)

The Trip! If you didn't get a chance to read part 1, you can find it here: Part 1: Prep Work . Now on to the actual trip. (This part will have more pictures than writing, I promise) Friday, around 4:30 pm myself and Hayden got on the highway on route to Frontenac Provincial Park. The rain was splattering a little on us, but the weather in Frontenac was clear (according to the weather network). As we got closer to Deseronto, traffic came to a stop. We were not moving very fast. Great. What now? All speculation soon came reality as we passed an accident on the off ramp into Deseronto. Ok, full steam ahead! Then the rain, rain, rain. Awesome. Great. Sh%t. Would I have to turn around and not continue? NO! I was not letting this get to me. I knew the weather was nicer at our destination. Canoes on Canoe Lake? No kidding! (Part 2: 150 for 150 event)

As you have read in Part 1 , we have been in Algonquin Park camping and here to also celebrate the 150 for 150 event. There has been a lot of sharing on Facebook this week, and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and seeing all the different takes on the weekend. Some of my favorites have been from the 150for150 group, Wild Canoes , and Camper Christina . So with that, I figured you can get a little view into our involvement. On Saturday, we decided that we would check out the Canoe Olympics that were happening on East Beach. I knew there would be some swag given away, and you just never know what can happen! It was so great to see people I have gotten to know online, and to chat with new folks. The first part we got to enjoy was some good old tug-a-war canoe style. We were greeted by Team Red and Team White, which I can't remember their names, and given the rules by Gayle Labuz ( the #WeGetOutside twitter chat coordinator).
